Was surprised with the shape of this flare. Have never seen it before. It is a new lens so could be something to do with that. Or maybe the filter. Either way, I really liked it

I don't think this was a sundog. It was only coming into the picture when I tried hide the sun behind the tree. I think this was due to the filter maybe. Should have removed the filter to check if it was. @ozziehoffy@maggiemae@friend2303
the effect was unintentional but the framing of the tree was intentional once i found out this was happening. had to move back a fair bit to get the whole tree within the circle
