I love this. Fav. Since you asked, I have two very tiny suggestions for tweaks (that may not work out, once you have experimented). 1. See if there is a way to get some greater contrast between the grey of the sky and the light grey of the sand. LR has a graduated filter that might help. 2. I might try a tiny bottom crop so that that curve of the sand (on the right) curves directly into the right lower corner (or slightly above it). I just love this shot.
I think it is stunning. I agree 100% with Rosie with regards the contrast between the sky and the sand and the slight crop at the bottomto match up with the corner. I found a page on Digital Photography school recently that shows different ways of using the graduated filter in Lightroom. I can post the link if you are interested.
Absolutely amazing on black, and enlarged. Mesmerizing. The tones and textures are all present, I don't see a hot spot - the deep blacks just emphasize the drama. I love this composition. On white it doesn't work as well....
