We had a snow day today...a legitimate day off of school and tons of white stuff to play in. First we had a pokey morning and I made blueberry pancakes for breakfast, then we loaded up in the car for a snow drive aka "Mama photo time." And then we got in two times of sledding and snow play and finally went out to dinner for Mexican food with my parents. Fun, fun day! We will sleep well tonight!
Thanks all so much for your lovely comments about my snowy fence shot. The snow is melting away to nothing again and I miss it already. It is so stinkin' photogenic and fun! Happy weekend, all. I need a break...I'm pooped. To bed early on a Friday night!
@amandalomonaco You are taking awesome photos of the snow, Amanda. I have spent so little time in the snow, had some when I was a little girl in Daly City once and once in Belmont, CA. Never spent time in it other than driving thru Crescent City on our honeymoon. Wish digital was in back then. It truly is awesome.
@tulipgirl Ha. Mine sat in the car as I stopped and got out for a minute or two to shoot every now and then. They enjoyed the pretty drive, though. Thanks, friend!
@darsphotos I really is. I love that it gives you a naturally high key look, though I have to edit mine a bit to get them so pretty white. They come out rather gray. Guess I don't have the settings right for snow.
@amandal I did not know you could end up with a gray look to snow. Interesting. So, still getting used to the new camera. It takes time but you are shooting awesome photos just the same, Amanda.
