Spring Pop Art by alophoto

Spring Pop Art

This week has been a bit of a bust photographically. Taking care of sick kids (at home) and feeling run down myself has not been great. I was supposed to have a photo field trip today that I couldn't pull together (everyone that I tried to meet couldn't and then the weather was bad).

So to cheer myself up, I went color crazy with a flower shot that I took yesterday. I feel better now. Hope you do, too.

Happy weekend!:) Life is so colorful and for that I am grateful.
Love all the different color tones in each rendition. Fun!

I was finding it so hard that I had quit this week Amanda. I got out today though & took a shot I liked. Its not easy, I can totally empathise. I love your shot by the way :)

@seanoneill Did you do something similar last year? I seem to remember you having a great photo of this flower. Do you know what kind it is?
May 14th, 2013
@amandal it is an Allium Amanda, yes I shot some this time last year, and may well do so again in the next week or two as we have 40 or 50 of them in our garden
May 14th, 2013
@seanoneill They are gorgeous...can't wait to see your new photos. Such a unique shape. Didn't you print one of yours last year for your kitchen or was that a Audry Hepburn shot?
May 14th, 2013
@amandal what a memory you have, I printed an Allium shot, and it displaced the beautiful Audrey Hepburn. I've just seen your very kind, sweet email, what a lovely lady you are :D I will send you my Allium shot in the morning, to give you an idea for shooting them.

Fun processing. Love it.
May 15th, 2013
@seanoneill Thanks for that! Glad that my memory is still pretty sharp. Sometimes not as much. Only the things that matter, do I remember...like what you hang in your kitchen;-).

@edie Thanks, Edie!! It was fun to do. I only wished that the stem of the flower could have made it in the collage. I used a program and it just took a portion of my photo.
