I have a big mouth. It gets me into trouble at times.
This shot was taken from inside the entrance to Mammoth Cave looking up. I've decided that I can never be a cave photographer (failed miserably inside) with no tripods allowed and a press of people behind me most of the time.
One of my favorite parts of our cave time was when we were deep inside and they shut out all of the lights so that we could see the pitch black. Trouble is, there was one person with their camera or phone on and all lit up. In the dark, I was bold enough to scream that they should shut off their frickin' light. We joked about it last night and I was tagged by my sweet hubby as "the Mammoth Bitch." Pretty funny and so very untrue;-).
hope you still enjoyed it. I'm a bit claustrophobic ,,, when wewent down a reconstruction of a 1800s mine in the pitch black , I had to turn around and get out before the

Ha ha! Those tags live on don't they?! Good for you for speaking up. Not right for one person to affect everyone else's experience that way. Love the wonderful greens in this shot!
@june It was wonderful. Just wish I had come away with a stellar photo, but so much fun despite that! One time I went spelunking deep into a cave for hours where we had to crawl on our tummies part of the time. That was pretty cool!
@sugarmuser The people and the technology these days. Perhaps it was someone trying to take a black photo? Come on you can create one of those. I considered making one.
@mcmary Thanks, Mary. Someone had to. I don't want our experience ruined by someone's selfishness!
@maggiemae Totally. I would have preferred less crowds, but it was still pretty cool!
@pflaume For sure! Thanks, lady. I am a green girl so I loved this lushness!
wahahaha =))) there are always people like that =))) i mean the ones who will use camera even when asked not to =)) i think your remark was quite fair =))) whahaha =))
