Just hanging out, shooting the breeze and sharing some of my favorite beer (Shock Top Honeycrisp Apple Wheat) with my best friend, Camera. Clearly (or not so clearly), we had one too many!
My bestie lets me call the shots and mostly does what I want, lets me push her buttons without complaining, looks at me with one wide unjudging eye, doesn’t say much…never speaks now that I think about it, just beeps and clicks occasionally. I can handle that. No yammering on and on about her ex boyfriend. My friend doesn’t mind being put in a bag or draped around my neck. Who can say that about their friends? And she let me have all the beer.
I discovered this amazing beer this summer. I'm not normally a beer drinker, but this is so good it practically makes me cry. It's a seasonal flavor and recently when I found it to be gone at the store, I cried out, "NooooooooooooooOOOOO!!!" in frustration. A few days later, I found it at another store and stocked up so I should be fine for a few months.
This is my take on the 5+2 theme addictions this week. My favorite beer and my camera are a couple of my minor addictions (probably worse than the camera is 365, but I already did an addiction selfie for that here: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-05-05).
For the record, I am really not much of a drinker. I have one or two a week at best. I've never been drunk or hung over. I'm the kind of person that doesn't need a drink to loosen up and get out on the dance floor. I have little to no inhibitions...I just dance.
i can definitely say that about my camera. except when it's being an ass. :-) great selfie. do you not find that we have to do some "acting" when we do these themed selfies? but i'll keep my day job unless someone buys one of my crappy photos for a million dollars. great job, A. i like it!
@summerfield I adore the acting. I miss it...loved being in drama in school. I really want to look into local theater or something here. And working on selling these shots for millions;-). Thanks, lady!
@adamj Thanks, friend. Here I posted it on Sept 11. I thought better and moved it to the tomorrow slot and posted something more thoughtful (and a shot from my trip that I loved) to the today slot. Thinking of you all today. And I need another beer...just found out my landlord wants to sell our house.

I know what you mean...i sound like I drink a lot of wine because I DO enjoy it...but usually only a couple times a week. NO...really!!! LOL!!
I"m not normally a beer drinker, either but that beer sounds great - apple crisp - not a cider? There is always a bit of embarrassment with selfies and the more creative we are - the more comes out - like your laughing. I like the way you have processed it - a bit like an explosion!
@maggiemae Hahahahahaha. Yeah, I don't do that. I've been called out on doing a "clap and a groove" thing, though. To realize my tendency toward that was pretty humiliating.
@maggiemae :)))). I'm not quite that crazy. But not your typical head bopping dancer. I get into it. It's been some years, though. Besides dance parties with the kids at home, of course.
@dreamatrix I'm busy with my bestie, camera;-). I included it in my addictions as my best friend that lets me push all the buttons and doesn't ever say a peep.
@dreamatrix My issue is more 365 than photography. I'm home with kids all day with a whole lotta not much social outlet. I got the photography thing down, more this year. I shoot when I feel like it. I leave home without the camera and it is alright. I just need my social fix here tooooo much.
@maggiemae@amandal - I believe that chap in the youtube was British and I have noticed that poms do a lot of finger pointing at the football. Perhaps he's from Chelsea?

Am I correct in thinking the zoomie focus was done in editing somehow? I know nothing about all the abilities of DSLR's but I wouldn't imagine you can play with focus with a remote trigger shot.

I actually did have a few sips and then felt guilty because it was daytime and I had to go to the bus stop and pick my kids up and worried that I smelled like alcohol. Look for this, though, sometime. It's amazing. I am not normally a beer drinker. The effect was done in editing using picmonkey, though it is something that you can do with a dslr. I've tried and almost gotten it, but never fully nailed the zoom burst. I think you do best with a tripod. Thanks for your always fun comments:)!!

WooHoo! Score baby! No trips to O-High-O anytime soon, but I got lucky when I stopped for groceries at Pavilions this evening. Now watch, after all this hoop-jumping, I won't even like it. LOL
