Trying to Shake Big Bad Rap by alophoto

Trying to Shake Big Bad Rap

Where is everyone going? Why are you scooting your chairs away? I just passed a crazy blonde in the hall that asked me for porridge and then screamed bear and ran away. Gee whiz, can you see why I came today? Everyone is scared of me, everyone hates me. They mistake me for a wild animal or even refer to me as Big Bad Wolf and that really hurts.

First of all, I do have a real name. It’s Eloise. And I’m a lady, and a lady never wants to be called big. It gives us a complex and makes us feel fat. And bad? What have I done? Sure I’ve eaten a couple pigs in my day, but who hasn’t. We all like crispy bacon, right?

When I was younger, I asked my parents to let me get my teeth filed down, but they told me that I am a wolf and I need sharp teeth to eat. I just don’t want to look creepy or mean when I smile.

I’m just an ordinary young woman, with a little more hair on my face. I want to go out with other girls and have a night on the town, howl at the moon, you know. Just regular stuff. But no one will hang out with me, or even have a conversation with me.

This big bad thing may have started when I was in Elementary school and sang my favorite Michael Jackson song, "I'm Bad" in the school talent show. Worst decision ever.

And now I have this stalker girl in a red hood chasing me around with a knife. I wish that I could have people see me as the petite, kind sensitive lady that I am. I even love to crochet. I just want a friend. Maybe I should try talking to the hood girl and see if she wants to hang out? Or perhaps I need to start shaving?

People think I’m big and bad just because of how I look. Stereotypes really hurt, you know.

If you didn't see yet, Mad Hatters are in character group therapy this week. The stories have been really fun so far. Check it out to see what who needs therapy @madhatters. Poor small kind wolf lady sure does.
Love the shot. You look like a werewolf.

@steampowered A poor sweet werewolf who is so very misunderstood. I just want a friend. Don't judge;-).
February 26th, 2014
@amandal I was just thinking back to Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQQtgx4iG8E

There's nothing wrong with being bad (it just depends what type of bad we are talking about!)
February 26th, 2014
@steampowered It's hard when people don't like you because of your supposed badness. I didn't eat a granny!!!
February 26th, 2014
@amandal That's ok. I couldn't eat a whole one either! :o))
February 26th, 2014
Oh Amanda! You make me laugh! Nice capture!
February 26th, 2014
Lol, you are one fun & creative lady, I love this project so far! So many stor book´s charachters are in need of therapy if we look close enough, think about Snow white for instance, clearly paranoid schizorenic, blamining that all are out to get her; her stepmother, the huntman....or what about that princess who slept for 100 years, yeah right that´s the cover up story, for reality she has a drinking problem and she just was passed out most of the time :D I can´t wait to see what you do next!
February 26th, 2014
You are so creative! Love it

you're crazy and i love you for that. so red's done and now you're the wolf? i want to say "lovely" but then the word is so subjective. nice portrait, kiddo. :-)
February 27th, 2014
@summerfield Gotta use my props/costumes and get my monies worth. I just reused my Alice wig and Sewer tart beret. Love recycling my stuff. Just trying to come up with characters that need therapy for mad hatters this week. The wolf's story was just too perfect not to use.
February 27th, 2014

If you can't eat a whole granny, you can get a doggy bag.
February 27th, 2014
Now you've made us all feel sorry for that poor, misunderstood wolf.
February 27th, 2014
sheesh! this is hysterical!
February 28th, 2014
@northy Did you see Rachel's today. It's funny how she mentions the wolf and bacon!!! See how this story needed to be told?
February 28th, 2014
ya had me at "crochet" ;p
February 28th, 2014
