I loved the way the light played through the creamy dogwood blossoms in my yard yesterday and how they almost appeared to be big, puffy white clouds against the blue sky.
It was also cool that it appeared that we got snow when the "strawberry blossoms" which turned out to be white crab apple blossoms, rained out of the tree and left a big white drift below it.
I like the looking up perspective. Looking up is such a great thing to do, unless of course you are on the rim of a canyon or on top of a building, then look down for goodness sakes:).
Thank you so much for your awesome response to my shot of Clara and I snuggling from yesterday. I love that many of you found it touching and it evoked sweet memories.
So beautiful! Again, I love the varying depths of field (guess I said that right) this part of the photography process really fascinates me. I'll have to start looking up!
I'm so jealous of your spring shots. We just survived the worst winter in decades and now spring is still taking its sweet time. Still some ice on the lake at the cottage and barely any buds or blooms. Sigh - I'm not patient. I'm dreaming when I can look up in a tree and see this! ;)
