This was also taken at Vinoklet Vineyards recently. I saw the dude by the water and at first wanted him gone...he was wrecking up my scene. And then when I realized what he was doing, I thought, No, he will make the scene.
Fishing was one of my favorite past times as a kid. I don't do it anymore...it's been years, but it is really something I want to share with my kids.
Could there be any more of a perfect time to be out there fishing? In such a peaceful and gorgeous canvas? I'll bet he caught some peace, serenity and tranquility. Wonder if he caught fish, too. Nope, it wouldn't matter with that view!
Oh and thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my shots of Clara's first day and the collage of my kids all starting school. The monochrom-y shot of my girl on her first day of the big K made the PP today. That gave me a big grin as it had been awhile. Back to the school year grind again. And so you know, little Clara had a "FUN" first day.
@yrhenwr Really appreciate you hating my shot enough to change it up;-). Totally kidding. Thanks for working on it and trying something new. This was a shot that I was not even tempted to convert. How could I lose that color? Not often that I get such great color in one shot. It does change the mood for sure in mono.
@kass Isn't it funny that at first I was thinking "would that gosh darn man get out of there?" I didn't see he was fishing. Just jacking up my shot;-). thanks, lady!!
Superb capture at that other end of a day. My favorite after sunrise 8-) I'll be traveling for the next 5 weeks so I'm not likely to comment regularly.
@cocobella Isn't it crazy...the color is edited a bit, but I don't know why it was blue over the pond. I guess the sunset was on the horizon but not overheard.
