@gigiflower I do like b&w, but I'd rather choose when to do it, what calls for it, than to be forced to do it everyday for days. I'm way too loosey goosey with my project now to like having a structure. One cool thing about it, though, was looking for subjects that better lent themselves to b&w. I probably never would have taken that leaf photo from yesterday or processed it as such but thinking of b&w made me look at different subjects. And that one was pretty well received and different. Thanks, Sam. You liked Scream?!! It was good, just too real and freaky. What did you think of The Ring? Eeek, that one was horribly messed up!
@amandal Yeh I'm not a huge fan of B&W, but it really did challenge me! I liked that! I'm a HUGE lover of colour......so I'm never going to be B&W all the time!! Oh I LOVE horror movies - the 1st Scream move was the best, especially the 1st 15 or so minutes. The Ring was freaky.....I saw it at the cinema on my own, with just one other person watching it. No wonder I did find it tough to watch!
@gigiflower I like to have someone next to me that I can claw and grab. Never forget Drew Barrymore with the phone, looking out the window. Eeek!!! I could NEVER watch a freaky movie alone.
@newbank@amandal Ooooooooohhhh I love to watch them on my own. I remember as a teenager watching Silence of the Lambs, all on my own at home with the lights off. It was soooooo scary!!! But I LOVED it!
There´s a lot of pleasing aspects here, that green is so inviting and mesmerizing, those leaves on the bridge and the low pov are wonderful aspects too
You're actually just a smidgen above me, as it turns out. Are you in the mountains? I suspect this ridicuous drought does have a hand in it, but in any case it's has dropped about ten degrees this week. Today's a milder 87, so I can't complain too hard :)
@louuncouth Nope, no mountains. Just flat ole southern OH. Mild 87. That's hot. We were in the 70s today, but so windy and fall feeling. Grey and rainy, too.

This is just stunning!! I LOVE wooden bridges!!! Especially going into or looking like they are leading into the woods!! Like you, I love the FALL season, I think of every new colorful leaf as Fall's Flowers. The POV is perfect and the details, lighting and scene are gorgeous!!!! FAV, FAV, FAV!!!!
I love the colours of autumn. It also means we're getting close to Christmas too, so that's always good :)
