This was taken a couple weeks ago prior to Mike and the girls running out the door to the Daddy Daughter Dance at our gym.
He is a good man to take his girls on a date. A great father and husband example. I pray the girls don't settle and go for a man like him someday.
Since I shared my sweet moment with my 10 year old son the other day, I thought I'd balance it out with Mike and the girls.
Today I was to go back to work. I was thinking that work will be like a vacation. School is on a funky release for some reason and Clara's school is cancelled. Now I have to scramble around and figure it out. Nothing comes easy, that's for sure.

How sweet! How wonderful to find the "right one" .... not easy these days! My daughter married someone like that and I feel so relieved. They also had a father-daughter dance at their school. We never had anything like that back when I was growing up or even when my kids were young.
Your comment, " I pray......." might mean perhaps, that they do not settle for less but go for a man like their father? How nice that they have a Daddy daughter day and can do it just with him. How can a school be cancelled? More decisions for you.

@maggiemae Cancelled due to a winter storm. Bad weather. Lots of snow predicted and it is coming down. They released the big kids early and since Clara is only there in the afternoon, her class was cancelled. It worked out as I could take her to daycare early and still get to work.
How sweet!!! We have one girl and 3 boys and our daughter is sooooooo the Daddy's Girl and he loves her to death!! This is just too sweet and you can see the adoration in all 3!!! FAV!

proud dad. i just read in the paper how dave grohl of the foo fighters cancelled a concert so he could take his daughter to the dad and daughter dance.
