Creamy Dreamy Springtime: The Early Bloomer

Me, I was a late bloomer.

We are about 3 weeks early with our spring this season. It's not even officially the season. Sunday is the first day but some blooms have been out for a week or two.

This is my first flowering tree and one of my favorites of the season, the royal star magnolia.

And this is the 4th time I have taken a photo of it...every year since we've been in OH. It's my annual tradition here. This year, I got permission from the owner (one of my friends and neighbors). Here was my first time shooting it...and was actually a different tree: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-04-09 . The last 3 years, I've used the same tree in my new neighborhood.

Beautiful. Spring was early for us, too. Things started blooming in February. Course, winter was so mild, the camelias bloomed all winter! I'm not complaining! LOL!
