This was from a tiny red tree bush thing down the street. The flowers are pretty small and I couldn't help but notice it whenever I walked the dog by.
The house is on the market if you want to be my neighbor.
This is in honor of the silly, awkward comment that I made while hanging out with another family last night. It was to my friend's husband. I didn't mean anything by it or think anything of it (because I knew exactly what I meant) until Michael said something to me in the car. "Did you call him a strong man?" It was in reference to him not liking or eating dessert. Who is like that? What is wrong with you? That is what I wanted to say. But instead said he was strong (like strong willpower). Should have said that part. Sheesh. Wonder if we will ever hear from them again. Forever awkward.
An absolutely gorgeous capture - love the focus and dof. And the story is great! If I was a betting woman, I'd say they knew what you meant! Have a happy Monday!
my question is...why didn't you say what you wanted to say...i'd say what you said, to my friends and their spouses and they'd know exactly what i meant and would probably laugh also...i don't think you've said anything inappropriate... :o) ...but/and we all have times when we're a bit fragile and worry about stuff that doesn't warrant worry...anyway...amazing on black this one...tack sharp blossom and great bokeh..def a 'printer' ...stress less...life's too short...and be who your are...you're good at it ! :o)
Very nice shot. We have one of those kind of red tree bush thingies by our house. They're pretty when they bloom, ours hasn't yet and hopefully the cold and snow hasn't ruined their ability.
@alophoto I believe they're a type of plum tree. I'm not entirely sure, but that's what we were told, if I'm remembering correctly. It came with our house so we're not 100% certain on that.
If I had heard you say that I would know exactly what you meant by it. I'm not sure why you're beating yourself up over it. Sounds like your husband misunderstood you.
Absolutely gorgeous take of these flowers. Stunning composition with such great detail and beautiful shallow DOF.
Ahhhhhhh once you have collected a thousand of those awkward moments they cease to bother you anymore.ome of the blessings he of....u,m, " middle" age. fav for your lovely blossoms
great title with your story! I always "slightly miss" exactly what I mean to say, and my hub is always making fun of me for it; great new joke you have between you now! LOVE your shot!
