The bombs bursting in air.
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there.
Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
The best part of the fireworks was watching them on the riverbank and spontaneously singing the star spangled banner or our national anthem as the fireworks burst overhead. It was pretty moving!
Next year, I've got to study up on proper settings before I go. They are tough to catch, but I am sure easier if your camera is set properly.
In a clear flower form... very lovely for the holiday. Your setting seem right to catch some of the movement in the flares. What other quote?? None. :)
Nice capture! The tips I found suggested a low ISO (200), a small aperture (f/11), and a long shutter speed (anywhere from 2-5 seconds), plus manually focusing to infinity so the camera isn't hunting for focus. I definitely got better ones this year with those settings than in previous years! It's just too bad there aren't that many occasions to practice. :)
Yeah, exactly what he said. :-)
And I'll add a Fav.
