Saw this forgotten dandelion and took a quick shot.
I loved blowing them as a kid, making wishes. Now being a responsible, semi OCD adult, I struggle to do this (in my own yard at least). I don't want to spread the weeds. There is a certain pleasure in the process though, watching the fluffy seeds scatter to the wind.
More effective than wishing is praying. Prayer is not a passive thing, casting about a hope or a dream, sending it flying to the wind. Crossing your fingers and merely hoping for the best. But actively asking the God of the Universe to help intervene in a situation. He desires to hear from you. He loves your voice, your thoughts, truly loves and desires meeting with you! If you listen hard, you may even hear Him speaking directly to you (not usually an audible thing-but a heart thing or a thought in your subconcience). It's crazily hard to be that quiet in this day and age (it takes practice), but oh when He speaks...it's truly life changing!
Was heart warming to read what you wrote.. I am not a great one for faith but am always happy when people I know clearly get so very much from their belief. But it's in nature where I see the undeniable existence of a creator. Lovely shot.
