Blast from the past

My Lego “NASA Apollo Saturn V” kit arrived today after nearly a three month wait for it - figured I’d chronicle my journey as I slowly put together the 1969 pieces that make up this 1 metre long(tall?) model.

So here’s the first bag completed (out of 12) and the beginning of the S-IC first stage rocket.
