The skyline of Dubai is incredible... skyscraper after skyscraper but the Burj Dubai tops the lot. It's over half a mile high and still growing! This was taken from the mono-rail on the Palm Jurmeriah.
Now I'm normally a good traveller and can eat pretty much anything but on this day I had the worst dodgy stomach ever! Which was a real shame as in the afternoon we met some friends and went to Asha Bhosle's restaurant. Asha Bhosle is a famous Indian singer (She's the Asha Cornershop sang about in their "Brim full of Asha" record) and apparently it was the best Indian meal ever... I had no idea as I couldn't face eating :-(
that building is crazy, it was on one of those channel 5 programmes on big things, 1 of the facts I remember is that it takes 30 minutes to pump the concrete to the top.
