These are the gates to the Thames Barrier, built to protect London from flooding in the event of high tides and storm surges... I live on the outside of the barrier so to me, they're of no use whatsoever.....
Absolutely nothing done today..!. Hate days when I'm left feeling it's been a completely wasted day....
Know what you mean about wanting to see more of the world... seeing so many great places through this site really makes me want to dig out my passport and starting checking my atlas...
THis is something i haven't seen before so its really interesting to me. I agree i like the repeition in the stuructre . THe green on the cement thingies (i'm such a girl...whatever they are called) is neat too. adds another dimension to the picture.
