Had to go to Barts for my MRI scan today! Yep, on a Sunday!! Good old NHS :-).
We'd planned on going to the Boishakhi Mela in Whitechapel afterwards, but the pollen count proved too much so my girlfriend cocooned herself indoors and I stopped by.
As I was on my own, I decided to snap strangers! Not sure what most people in this pic are looking at...
For those that are interested, the Boishakhi Mela is a celebration of the Bengali New Year (actually in April but held in May in hope of good weather)... And yep, the weather was great. Low 80s, 100,000 people enjoying music, food and various other entertainment...
Too hot, too packed and too bothered to stay for long... So jumped in my car, drove to my girlfriends where I got out the lawnmower and triggered off another hayfever attack!!! Can't win...lol
I wish I knew what had caught their attention! But hey, gave you a chance to catch a shot. These women are such a great example of how to look lovely and cool, not how some women look when the sun comes out...gross!
