Yep.. it's my 41st today. God... 41..!!! Where have all the years gone!?!?!
Despite almost constant rain and miserable weather, me and my girlfriend (or should that be 'my girlfriend and I') had a lovely day. Drove down to Hastings and spent the day wondering through the side streets, along the beach, up and down the funicular railway and celebrating my 'BIG' day with wonderful company :-)
Don't normally go in for 'selfies' but thought I'd upload this snap (ok, ok, not taken by me but to heck with the rules) as it's not too bad a pic - and hey... I am almost smiling.. Not quite, but almost... :-)

Happy Birthday, *Youthful* Handsome Man! So glad it was a terrific day; we can say the same! Like you there, it was a cool rainy day in Nova Scotia, and when we went for drinks and dinner with the neighbors, we sat by a cozy fire! On June 1st of all things! We had a sensational home cooked meal by a spectacular cook, and drank too much champage with ice cream & a cake I made. 365 went down to tubes tonight in this household, but all in exchange for a great evening! Be back tomorrow, and will pick up the pieces and start again! Here's to you!
