After work, I took a walk around a new park in Rainham that has been created on an old waste dump. It's fairly new so pretty uninteresting at the moment, but give it a year or two and I'm sure it will be quite pleasant.
It's basically a giant hump of household waste thats been covered in earth and left to nature. As I said, nothing much to take and it was either this or another silhouette pic...
Considering it was a little windy, this has come out quite crisp.
Boring day in the office, lack of football chat noticeable! Thankfully the World Cup kick starts tomorrow with a couple of quarter-finals.
thanks guys - yeah Joe, the place was full of different wild flowers, including some thistles. I have a feeling seeds had been spread to encourage the plants.
beautiful - the contrast between the spikes and the soft downy stuff makes it really interesting - great that they are turning the waste dump into a park
