Crystal clear skies this evening - means it's bloody freezing - but it meant the moon looked really bright so it has allowed me to try another moon shot pic.
This is the first time I've taken anything other than a full moon, and am fairly pleased with the detail.
I set the shutter speed to a quite fast setting and, leaning out of the bedroom window, took this looking over the flats opposite me. In the 2 minutes I had the window open, I think the tempeture droped 10 degrees in my flat... brrr....
Quiet day in work, met Sangeeta for a bite to eat in the evening, then home listening to Pompey grab a surprise 2-1 away win at Swansea... Good stuff...
Here I am half way around the world from you and I took almost the identical photo night before last night. I find that to be pretty cool. Oh and great shot. http://365project.org/jobesekama/others/2010-11-24
Turned out great! Ya know, I could get the partial moon. When it came to the full moon pictures, they turned out dark. I don't get it. Not sure what the difference would be.
This is amazing....the details are fabulous. The best shot that I've seen of half of a moon. I always enjoy reading your post and especially hearing about your day in your own words. I love the language ....and your words....if only I hear your the dialect and instead of just reading it.
Well done Andy & well done to pompey .. ( you might want to keep those windows closed mate just got a letter today gas prices going up by 9.3 percent from the 1 st dec .. Robbing buggers lol .. Now shut those windows !! )
thanks everyone... @mrssmith You're too kind... As for my accent, it was rather country (My "I" would be "Oi" and my "night" more "Noight" if that makes sense) but so many people took the micky when I moved to London I forced myself to lose it... shame really although a few beers and it slips out again :-)
