So the snow finally arrived... not much, maybe 2 or 3 inches but enough..
I was hoping the snow would have meant a day off as usually the trains don't need an excuse to stop working so I was mildly surprised and equally disappointed to find them running on time today.. Still, there's always tomorrow...
This was taken down by the path along the Thames as I was on my way home after work. I rested the camera on a post and set the shutter speed to a long exposure, quickly returning my hands to my pockets before frost bite set in...
Not really happy with any of the shots I took this evening, but as this was about the best of a very bad bunch, it'll have to do... Hopefully better tomorrow.
I like this photo. I feel the cold and the blue lights add to the cool nature of this shot. Like the fact that you are the only one out in this weather!
Love it. It does have this cold feeling to it. The lights really add to the whole shot. The still air and no one around really makes the shot wonderful.
Great picture....and thanks for sharing your technique for this shot. I'm taking notes on what you do so that I might attempt some shots in the future. And maybe tomorrow....!
