Lens

Today's photo was a last minute experiment which turned out better than I expected. I'd popped to the Wharf after work and took a few photos, but apart from the snap uploaded to my other album, I wasn't pleased with any of the other pics I took.

So, I switched to my 50mm lens and took a few pics of the18-55mm kit lens on my kitchen work top. I then thought about trying a long exposure shot so set the exposure to 2 seconds... I'd left the light on in the kitchen and this resulted in washing out alomst everything apart from the lens.

I darkened ever so slightly, but quite like the result.

As for work today, I attended a launch of a local social enterprise and had to take some pics of a Lord... That's right, a real life Lord!! Lord Wei?!?!?!?! Ever heard of him???? Nope, me neither....
cool...i like the processing.

That's unusual - it's fun to experiment.

You rub elbows with all the rich and famous. I see that he is an advisor on the Big Society project. Love the shots you are taking with your 50mm.

Nice shot, but never heard of the Lord. Not surprising on this side of the pond. ;)
