Finally got my iphone today. Not without hassle though! The sim card wasn't included nor the ipod shuffle that was offered free when I ordered.
I spoke with a faceless operator at the call centre who said I would need to go to my local shop to pick up a sim card and that I was not going to receive the shuffle as there was no such offer.!
I mentioned I had both printed off the web page screen and order but he was insistant that there was no free shuffle deal and I would not receive one...
So off I sent to the local store, picked up the sim and ranted about the crap service I'd received. The manager then spent half an hour on the phone to the call centre before confirming the shuffle will be delivered tomorrow..
Obviously had to take a snap of my new toy... checking out the 365 site of course :-).
Today marks day 100 of my second year of this daily photo lark... Can't believe how fast times goes...
Well it came but not without a hassle. My son worked at the Apple Store in Manhattan in 08 & when he upgraded I got his old one. First generation maybe??
They will try anything on wont they...it gets so tiring having to fight for what has been promised every time! Like the DoF a creative take on your new toy :)
This phone acquisition has been very challenging, hasn't it. Nice shot of your new toy. And congrats on 100 ( or 465?). I'm pretty excited that I just completed 3 months.
