Took this shot as I sat on a bench in Ilford waiting for Sangeeta who was in Boot's (a chemist store)... Viewed in large, you can clearly see the lady on the left has clocked me...
Sangeeta's best friend was coming over later in the day, and I had hoped to visit our favourite south Indian restaurant in the evening, but she didn't turn up until nearly 10pm and by then, we were too hungry to wait and had cooked something to eat...
I'm off to a colleague's wedding tomorrow, Sangeeta and friend are off to someone eles's wedding...
And on a serious note - some serious nut case has killed close to 100 people in Norway and Amy Winehouse OD'd today....

that is my high st lol ppl born here refuse to call it anything but essex..im one i have an essex post code and my address is essex..it used to be a village but where east london grew in with shops it conected it unfortunatly when i wasyoung ilford was lovely and full of life..only one shop bodgers is left..its so sad
@andycoleborn they used to do best jacket potatos to i might pop in on monday have to go shopping...i loved fairheads was there 100 yrs ...and in the 80s ilford high road was fantastic for nights out...nothing there now
