Took the nifty-fifty out today,firstly to Borough Market which I didn't realise was closed on Sundays so I high-tailed it over to Brick Lane for a market-fix.
Although my fifty is manual focus which can be a bit tricky when taking quick candids, when you get it right, the crispness and sharpness is so much better than the 18-55 kit lens...
Caught a nice tender moment here, although being picky, would have liked to have been a bit further back and caught the whole of this couple as she did have nice legs :-)
Nice shot, Andy. I also wandered into Leadenhall Market yesterday and wondered where all the people were, until I remembered it was Saturday, so I took myself down to the Tower, which was very lively.
The legs would be for your benefit only as I think the framing is perfect and focuses on the sweet tender moment you captured. I agree about the nifty 50. I have a manual focus and I miss so many shots because of it. Think I will have to spend the money for an automatic focus one of these days....but first a new camera body
Love my 50mm manual focus but it is tough for quick shots, and I can never tell from the small screen I have to zoom in to work out if I've got what I wanted. Nice shot.
