Stark Lonely and Dead by andycoleborn

Stark Lonely and Dead

Took this shot on route to Portsmouth this morning at a little cafe/stop off point near the the M25 and A3 junction.. There's a small wood and area for dog walkers but the place also attracts another type of dog related activities - dogging..!!! I suggest you google but be prepared.!!!!

There's been a fair bit of tree felling here, tho I am not sure why they left this solitary dead birch.. Maybe it was already dead and they didn't see any value in felling it... or maybe they were sticking two fingers up to the doggers..!!!

Headed to Pompey to see another decent performance but as is the way, a dreadful ref spoilt the game and we came away with a 3-1 defeat..
I know that cafe pass it ever most days of I take the longer route to work. On the left a Bisley junction , I always stay I right hand there as every bugger pulls in there.

Seem to be quite the expert on these dogging spots eh ! ;-)

very odd looking, but fascinating looking shot. The poor trees. Too bad they couldn't have just put up an electric fence and zap the doggers lol

@andycoleborn Luckily I did not have to do any dogging stories - Just affairs and paedo's!! But I do know the place very well, we stopped there a lot as children visiting friends and my Grandma in Tolworth (just up the A3 to London). Never saw anything dodgy tho!!

The tree was left especially for you to stop and compose it. Awesome. Love the solitary barren landscape - the clouds too are quite gloomy.
