Not much done today, bit of a lazy morning before heading over to the local gardening centre at lunchtime and stocking up on a bunch of bedding plants...
A couple of hours planting up and a bit of tv watching the excitement of the final day's premier league on Sky Sports News... What a last 2 minutes of the season.. City 2-1 down and throwing away the title, then 2 goals in injury time and they snatch the premier league from United..!!
Nice capture Andy, it was definitely a gardening day although mine was interrupted with Grand Prix rather than football but I did see that last few minutes of the City game - quite exciting!
@rich57 Not prem league, but still top div... But in 1950, Pompey were 4-0 up and Man City won their game 8-0 meaning we had to score 1 more in injury time to win the league... We did and as footie was based on real average, it's apparently still the closest finish yet :-)..
Of course, sky weren't around then and as we all know, footie didn't exist before the Premier league!!!!!!
Great colours! I heard all the shouting from various little bars while walking home last night, it is fun who people all across the globe will get equally excited about a game like this :)
