Barrier

Drove into work today as I had some stuff to take home that I couldn't be arsed lugging about with me on the train..

On the way home I stopped off at the Thames Barrier park and took a few pics of the aforementioned Thames Barrier...

Interestingly...In the 1980s there were 4 closures, 35 closures in the 1990s, and 75 closures in the first decade of this century..!!

Yes... the information centre is a good trip. They predict the closure based on 'super lows' if my memory serves (from a few years ago).
