Woke up to more monsoon conditions in London but still attempted the drive down to Hants to see mum..
An hour later, driving on flooded roads blinded by spray from cars in front or from the other side of the road I thought f**k this and turned around and headed home...
Sangeeta fancied a taste of home in the evening so we visited a local Asian fish shop and bought a hilsa fish - it's a Bengali freshwater fish which I cooked in a mustard sauce... nice but very, very bony...
