Feeding Station

Took the day off work as I had a bit of a dodgy belly which magically cleared up by lunchtime so I took myself of to the local RSPB bird reserve which is a 5 minute walk from where I live...

I've no idea when it comes to our feathered friends so an relying on our 365 birders, Cherrill and Rich, for identification here...

thay are goldfinches mate. My favourite birds...used to have loads of them in my garden til a neighbout chopped their favourite tree down!

Lovely little birds - I just love the one who looks like he is levitating towards the feeder! I didn't even know these birds lived here, a friend bought me a feeder with niger seed in it and I get them coming every day now... they scarper too quickly for me to get a shot though

All goldfinches Andy....strange how both you and @rich_t have had the tummy probs...... @filsie65 Niger seed is the great attraction for finches. If you can bear the cost...keep it topped up and you will be greatly rewarded! @edpartridge Ed is that you rejooining the fray?
