Fish and Chips

I was an hour into my drive to Portsmouth when I heard the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch...

At least we didn't lose today.!!!

Still, it gave me more time visiting mum, restocking her freezer and popping down the chippy for a healthy meal of white fish and potatoes.... Bit surprised the chippy now throws in a lemon wedge.!

How very cholesterol lovely! Proper fish and chips,wrapped in newspaper from the local chippie I knew from my childhood in Australia, we really don't see in the USA. Nice view.

@frankhymus @andycoleborn - I end up in a fair amount of pubs in the city (nice ones too) and they "try to be English" with fish n chips and shepards pie but usually miss the mark. Guess they figure after too many beers customers won't know the difference. Haha.
