Dixie Queen

Had to head over to south London after work and as it was a nice evening, I decided to walk back along the river... As I approaced Tower Bridge, I heard the tell-tell siron meaning the bridge was about to rise...

Shortly after, the Mississippi type paddle steamer, the Dixie Queen, came through...

This is about the third or forth time I've seen the bridge open, but for all the tourists in the area, it probably made their visit to London...

Ah, great you got to see it open. I love it when it comes down and all the cars have to stop for ages and you get to cycle over the bridge with hundreds of cyclists.
