I finally caught the Emirates Air Line over the Thames this evening...Wonderful views but it was a bit breezy up there and the cars were swaying a little..
Unfortunately it was far too bright to take any good shots looking west towards central London and well, looking east was a bit boring...
Also - the ride is over far too quick..
As you can see though, the cable car hasn't really caught on and most cars were empty.. At the height of evenng commute too...
Cool! - I'd totally forgotten about the Air Line - shall have to go investigate next time I'm in the big smoke :) A shame more people aren't using it though ...
Not something I've experienced yet but it is well down the list because as a camera platform it is a bit suspect in the breeze and it moves too quick for panoramas.

@davidgnc Hmmm good idea - all those into the sun did have a lot of glare and weren't very good at all - hence I didn't post one of those... I did read that mag as my dad was an avid reader but haven't seen a copy for a long time now..
I posted some pics a few months back - anybody with a camera needs to take the ride. It is wonderful. But Juliette is right - bugger all to see either side of the river.
