Blackbirds

Over the past couple of weeks I watched a pair of blackbirds build a nest in a bush right outside my office window.

It's quite low, only about 2 foot off the ground and I thought they had moved somewhere else as I hadn't seen either bird for a few days - but today both were back and forth carrying grubs, worms and the like in to the bush... So I took a quick look and saw a handful of recently born chicks..

I'll take a look ever few days to see how they get on, so you might see a little more from these guys over the weeks..

More nakedness I see!....not the prettiest things at this stage but they do improve although looking at my shot of the day you do have to wonder!! Good capture btw.
