Met up with @azza_l today and shot my first ever paid wedding gig... Hayley and Steve tied the knot at a registry office somewhere in South London (not sure exactly where lol) before heading up to Blackfriars for a reception at a venue over looking the Thames..
This pic is a very quick edit in picassa - I'll spend the next couple of weeks editing them properly in Lightroom..
It was a very relaxed and informal wedding and probably a good one to start off on.. But I've realised I'd need a better camera if I was to do this on a regular basis...
A good day but glad there was two of us...hopefully between us both we'll have a few hundred pics they happy couple will be pleased with..
nice one mate - good you had backup - sounds like you enjoyed in tho...you going to do more? I found it all too stressful, and the editing afterwards is just so time consuming! Last full week in London next week, must try and get a date in the diary to meet up before I go busy nuts again!
@sparkle Mate, I wouldn't fancy doing one on my own and def wouldn't do one wihout better equipment... Both of us took nearly 1000 pics so hopefully we'll have a good 300-400 between us (fingers crossed).. Yeah, should ry and meet up but I really busy the next two weeks... But should be ok once it's Sept..
@andycoleborn I'm manic too - last week at JL this week, then up to Scotland on a snapping hol. Not sure what September has to offer, but i'm sure there'll be some gaps somewhere!
