I don't normally go for the over the top edit, but today's pic just wasn't working, no matter what I did in picassa or even Lightroom..
So after half an hour messing about, I was getting pretty fed up so decided to stop where I was, upload and be damned.....
A couple of years ago I damaged the cartilage in my knee.. I had an MRI scan etc but over time it sort of healed itself... The last week it's been getting steadily worse and today it's really painful.! Great... Just in time for my holiday....
Great capture here mate. I feel your pain...I've done somnething nasty to my high muscle - hobbling around - don't think I'll be doing my half marathon at the weekend!! Neurofen gel...works wonders (though sadly not miracles!!)

Stubborn Ego and Pride. An inability to bend. Fear, inflexibility. Wont give in.
The new thought pattern is:
Forgiveness. Understanding. Compassion.
Consider: I bend and flow with ease, and all is well.
That of course may or may not fit for you, it is a universal guide, meant to be adjusted for the individual.
@sparkle Oh no..... I've tried the gel but the problem isn't the muscle (or lack of) so didn't help :-(... May not worth risking further damage pushing yourself for this one ??
@andycoleborn I'm thinking the same - ten weeks isn't long to recover and maintain fitness if I pull something completely - off to the physio Thursday so we'll see what wonders he can magic up!!
So I guess it's not you with your painful knee ! Take some rest during your holidays !
I'm not found of heavy processing too, but I have to admit its eye catching ! Well done !
