Whilst my wife was busy saree shopping (and yes! she spent about 3 days in total doing just that...!), I bought a brass head.!
According to the shopkeeper, this is Parvati, the second consort of Shiva, the Hindu God of destruction and rejuvenation and the mother of the gods Ganesha and Kartikeya (Thanks Wiki)..
Bonfire Night here in the UK but most displays were held last weekend... Theres a few next weekend which, if free, I might try to get to....
