Took my gorilla pod up town today to take some night shots - as it turned out, I only took some photos of the London Eye coupled with a bt of shopping and a couple of stop off's for coffee before heading home...
I did get stopped by a South African gent whilst taking this who was telling me about his new toy, a dongle type thing that connects wirelessly from his camera to his iphone and allows him to use his phone to control everythng on his camrea... Sounded good - But I've forgotton what he called it.! Doh!
Great shot. I've been meaning to literally get this viewpoint all year.
I want a GorillaPod too. Worth getting??

@stevecameras Cheers mate - Yeah I'd say so, light and adaptable - Used the legs on this gripping around a circular barrier (already put up the barriers ahead of New Years Eve) so I'd say def worth the money..
@andycoleborn Well that's recommendation enough! May I ask have you got the big SLR one or one of the smaller ones? Can you remember which model you've got? I have a mid range 7D SLR and a 17-50mm lens so not a huge load.
@andycoleborn OK great. I know there's really big one but I think your one would be enough. I need to head into a John Lewis with my kit and try it out :)
