Medals

Headed down to Pompey to watch a bore draw 0-0 against Cheltenham...

Then a quick visit to mum's where I restocked her freezer and bought a ton of cakes and and other treats to keep her going for a while...

Shared a pizza then I headed home - I hadn't taken a pic all day so once home I dug out my Grandfather's WWI & WWII medals:~

- 1914-15 Star
- British War Medal
- Victory Medal (These three WW1 campaign medals are known as Pip, Squeak and Wilfred)
- 1939 to 1945 Star
- Africa Star
- Atlantic Star
- Long Service and Good Conduct Medal
Love the history and the rich colors here, Andy. Lovely!

A nice set. My dear old Dad only has one medal (LSGC) which he says he got for Twenty two years undetected crime"

Beautiful memories and something to be proud of. That was referring to the medals rather than Pompey drawing though a miracle in itself
