Caught in the act

This WAS an Easter wreath. This WAS all feathered and beautiful. This WAS nice and safe on my craft room table. This WAS!

Is it very wrong of me that I grab my camera before I remove the puppy from the scene of the crime?!!!
Lee
Oh, at first glance I thought you'd been trimming the dog! Well and truly caught.

Lucky that your dog is so lovely.

OMG that is so funny, and she/he doesn't even look the tiniest best guilty, wonderful capture.

LOL. ditto what Lee said. Nicely photographed and I'm glad it was a wreath and not a pheasant. Maybe you fee differently < : )

You were warned that there would be days like this! Of course you will be advertising her for sale now? Yeah, 'course you will.

He is so guilty!! Awesome capture!!

Oh that's a relief...at first I thought it was one of the visitors to your feeder!
:O

Not wrong to get your camera for a shot, at least you have something to remember the wreath by...since you don't have the wreath anymore.

The wreath would just have been a beautiful wreath that would have lasted a few years, this memory will last a lifetime!!! THANK YOU for grabbing your camera before you did anything! =) LOVE IT! FAV!!!

PS! What kind of dog is she? She is absolutely adorable!! Guilty face and all! =)

Uh oh! lol. Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of scolding when you're like, "Wait...let me get a shot first!" lol.
March 21st, 2013
LOL. Great catch of the cute culprit.
March 21st, 2013
UHOH!
March 21st, 2013
I am sure that the puppy did not mean any harm.
March 21st, 2013
Ooops! Haha - she is gorgeous, how could you be angry? :)
March 22nd, 2013
@gamelee She IS the same colour as the feathers- she's be looking far less pleased with herself if we'd been trimming her though!
March 23rd, 2013
@sherwoodie Thanks, Laura. She got away without a scolding!
March 23rd, 2013
@jo13 I don't think "guilty" exists in her vocabulary- according to her it was MY fault for leaving the wreath accessible to tiny teeth!
March 23rd, 2013
@foxsparrow Luckily she shows no tendancy to go for actual wildlife!
March 23rd, 2013
@chessington £10 for her and I'll throw in all the feathers you can carry too!
March 23rd, 2013
@gardencat You have a point! My plan for the weekend is to make an Easter wreath... sure that was on my list last weekend too- funny that!
March 23rd, 2013
@marybethosullivan You're right- the photo and memory are worth more than my poor wreath! Ceilidh is a Cocker Spaniel and is such a darling. She's just over a year old now and we can't imagine what life was like before her...
March 23rd, 2013
@emrob Somehow, post photo, I never quite got around to telling her off!- She'd been such a sweetheart at sitting and waiting for me amongst the devastation that I didn't have the heart!
March 23rd, 2013
@judis @miley89 @jimmyveee @darrenboyj Thank you all. I never did tell her off for it. By the time I'd finished the photos, she's forgotten what she'd done wrong!
