Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

It's a maribou stork- the only one that flies in demonstrations in the UK. It was the size of a house and fantastic! Gauntlet Bird of Prey Centre was the venue and a must as a visit for any of you if you fancy a day out in Cheshire.

Apart from that... DISASTER! My first ever CF card failure happened today and took with it 2 days of photos so I'm going to have to fill in with more shots from the centre. That in itself is a privilege but I'd been so determined to get through this first year with no fillers....sigh. At least I know I did actually take photos those days and I can certainly stand more birds of prey if you can!

Sorry to hear about the card issue...it hasn't happened to me yet...must mean I'll be due anytime now...is there no way to recover ?
