Noah's escape route

This road is a local icon- the "Cat and Fiddle" road, named for the pub at it's summit, through the Peaks. Neil had left his walking pole in the pub late last week so we were on a rescue mission. This rather incongruous collection of canoes were in the car park though- I know it was raining but it's an interesting thought that they feel they need canoes just in case...I wonder if the landlord is called Noah?
What a great shot. Always good to have a Plan B just in case.

Well you never know - there could be a mega-tsunami, I suppose! Interesting thought.
