So 3 days in and bang goes the intention to only post phone photos this year...! I was at the wonderful Chester Zoo with my camera and the andean bears have had a cub who was up a tree and curious about the public. My husband and I spent about about 2 hours watching this cutie as she shuffled round and watched everyone go by. It has a particular pleasure for us as we saw the parents when the first arrived at Chester as rescue bears from a zoo in China. They had so very many behavioural problems at that point and it is testament to this zoo that they have turned the parents round to...well, be parents!
