Great bright pink. I never would have thought that the colour of the instrument would make a difference. Does it seem to be working?
And what do the boys play?
@gardencat We’re an all girls school!
Yes it does work beautifully! It encourages the students to think of trying musical instruments as a bit of fun rather than a big deal and the fact we lend the instruments out means the girls can try something for a little while and the parents don’t have the expense of buying an instrument till they’re sure their daughter is going to keep going with it. Most of our students have tried 4 or 5 different instruments to see how they get on with them by the time they join our upper school at 11. I wish I’d had the same opportunity at their age!
