Seems absurd that people used to smoke on planes!

Found this 1970s BOAC freebie pack of matches in an old drawer. I liked the way they used to write the areas of the world on the matchsticks

Smoking on flights was an unbelievable thing, now that I look back on it. I used to smoke, but always opted for a non-smoking seat if I could. Not that it helped much! The smoke would still come wafting over. Great keepsake, these matches!
