Raw herrings in marinade with onion and carrots: after two days ready to be eaten with boiled potatoes or on a slice of bread. Yes, I know, the herrings should have been rolled but I saw no point in that because I am going to eat them on a slice of bread. Rolled herrings would look a little bit nicer and maybe the marinade would be a little bit clearer, more transparent, but I wanted to try it this way.
