@gijsje Our dog's pads don't tolerate colder than -10 C very well. And besides snow makes clods between its toes and the dog has difficulties in walking and tries to bit them away after every 100 meters or so. That's why we often put shoes on its feet in winter.
Those are cute! The weather here is not as cold as over there---they do sell dog boots, but you rarely see any dogs wearing them. You should put a photo up with the dog in his boots. :-)
