To honour The Senior Citizen Week our Library showed us the film The Hundred Year-old Man Who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared. I have read the book and liked the film very much. Especially as the Man reminded me of my brother who also liked to make small explosions as a boy. My brother was satisfied with small explosions which destroyed nothing. Unluckily the man in the film did not stop at that.
How nice of the library to do that! It's always nice to be able to compare book to film... The premise is intriguing... I have not heard of this film and wonder if it is American? I only ask because the text is in English.
@Weezilou The film is Swedish, but half of it was in English as the man travelled around. There might be a full English version around because the film is presented around the world. It was a really absurd and unbelievable story but I laughed a lot..
